Development Begins On iOS 7 (7.0) Jailbreak

After the second beta of iOS 7 was released, jailbreak developers are preparing for and upcoming release for the new operating system. In the last few days we have seen some interesting tweets on Twitter from both P0sixninja (known for GreenPoison and Evasi0n) and rpetrich (known for Activator) regarding iOS 7.
A few hours ago rpetrich tweeted out the image below that proves he has jailbroken his iPod.



In addition, P0sixninja had two interesting tweets that should not be overlooked. In the first one he stated  ”Ok, I hate redsn0w, I hate sn0wbreeze, and I hate 6.1.3. I’m ready to get this #openjailbreak off the ground” implying that he has something in store. This tweet followed up one he had made previously stating “I got a lot of amazing things coming to you all soon. think bigger than jailbreak ;)” before sharing the picture seen below.

Apparently his discovery was bigger than he first thought and could possibly lead to a bootrom exploit that will allow permanent jailbreaking of all devices. Little is known yet but we will make sure to update you with more as it happens. What we do know is that there is little chance anything will be released until iOS 7 reaches the hands of the public.
