Note :
- Rooting voids warranty period of that particular device. If you don’t want to lose your phone’s warranty, you are requested not to apply this Rooting process on your device. You can get back your warranty period by unrooting the device.
- This process is only applicable on Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 LTE.
- Make sure your device is charged enough to load this process.
- Have a proper data cable to connect this device to the PC.
- Take a good backup of your device’s data.
Root Android 4.2.2 on Galaxy S4 I9505 LTE Jelly Bean Official Firmware :
Step 1 :- Initially you have to download a direct root software. This software will allows you to root your device within no time. If you don’d know from where to download this software, you can get it from the below link.
- Download CF-Auto-Root Android 4.2.2 Package:
- Now, to run this Rooting process on your PC, you need to download Odin tool. You can get this tool from the below link.
- Download ODIN v1.85
- Then after turn off your device and send it to download mode. You can do so by pressing and holding Volume down + home buttons together. When you see something on your display press Power button to confirm the download mode.
- Run the Odin tool by right clicking on to the downloaded file.
- Now, connect your Samsung Galaxy S4 device by using a proper data cable to the PC. Make sure you are still on your device’s download mode.
- When the device get successfully connected to the PC, Odin box will turn Yellow. It means your device is connected well to the PC and now can run the Rooting process.
- Now, from the Odin tool, click on to PDA option and browse the above downloaded Rooting package file CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505.zip.
- Double check all the options again. Make sure Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options are enabled on your Odin tool.
- To run the process, click on to Start button from the Odin tool.
- Rooting process will automatically starts on your device. It takes a few seconds to complete the process.
- After a few seconds you will have a PASS message on your Odin tool which says you have successfully rooted your device.
- Now, unplug your device from the PC.
